When it rains…it snows (now with updates!)

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Much has happened…but I’ve hesitated to post because I really don’t know how much of this anybody else would care about.

First, we got the papers in and now we play the waiting game for Tweeky’s visa. It’s gonna be a long wait.

Second, after trying 3 times, Kehra is now registered to vote. Go me.

Third, guess who got a promotion? woot! I go to the billing department July 7. No more stupid customers, yay!

Fourth, kids are at daddy’s now…boo :( I’m trying not to miss them too much. We got pictures taken but I think Tweeky needs to post those as he has them digitalized and stuff and I don’t. (That was a hint.)

UPDATE: Pictures!!! P.S. Don’t complain about the layout…the gallery thingy sucks.

I only have two things to say

1. It amazes me how some people can say they are open minded yet be so damned egocentric.

2. Tweeky is going to be here on Wednesday! (and we are about to have some very fucked up snowstorms in the next couple days o.o )

Back in the dark days before Tweek (was there such a time?), the primitive Kehra didn’t care about credit. She let the evil troll who dwelt with her drive every last penny away and more. She was stupid. Things did not get paid.

Then on the bright, sunny day (well it was actually cloudy and cool) of November 17, 2003, everything changed. Primitive Kehra was able to join the modern man (Tweek) and venture into the wide world of credit. And she found what a disaster had really befallen her.

However, there was a light side to the dismal place she now found herself in. For with the troll gone, she was able to pay her bills on time. And to date, has only been late once in all those 4 1/2 years. Once. And that was when she hadn’t had a job for 4 months and Kehra was a bleak being.

In all those 4 1/2 years, she fought with the evil Sears company for dominion over her credit scores. She battled and denied because the troll was supposed to handle it and didn’t (surprise). And there was much anger. They fought and fought with poor Kehra and made sure her score was updated regularly with the evil problem that was no longer hers.

And then…on February 19, 2008…modern Kehra reached into her credit score and found:

There was no Sears.

And there was much rejoicing. “Yay.”

P.S. I don’t mind being immature at this point and giving a big fat F- You to the assholes. HA! Okay I’m done.

So hi….how are you?

Really? That’s amazing.

Me? Oh, I’m okay….

Guess who got an appointment with a lawyer for next Wednesday?

Woot!

Okay so I’m only going in to find out what it is we need to get started, what kind of work is going to need done, etc. Nothing is actually gonna happen then. But it’s a start. Finally. Course now I’m gonna have Tweeky running around like a chicken with his head cut off to get us paperwork and things. ;)

One morning last week I woke up and didn’t have a problem with the fact that it was 5am. Just…all of a sudden. It was weird. Not that I’m complaining. Only thing I can complain about is that in order not to feel tired I have to go to bed at 9pm. That kinda sucks. But the kids are in bed by then so I suppose all is well in that regard.

And you know everything you put into a web form? Yeah we read those. Make sure yours are easy to read and not perverted. Thanks. ;) (I do enjoy that job even though I’ve got the new responsibility freakout what do I really do problem right now)

Found a little spot on my desk where I can put together the smaller puzzles, so I’ve been doing that. I like puzzles. Unfortunately I have found that most of my puzzles are bigger than 19×19…bah.

Time to go to work, huzzah.

How We Roll

I (heart) Alvin and the Chipmunks. *sigh*

I (heart) the iPod shuffle Tweeky got me for Christmas. (it’s purple)

I (heart) the PS2 the kids got for Christmas. (I can finally play the one game I have from back in the day)

I (heart) the electronic version of The Game of Life I surprisingly got. (it uses cards and NO PEGS!!!)

I (heart) being able to sleep in for 4 days, even though I woke up Christmas morning with a brain shattering sinus headache I carried all day.

I (heart) being able to get off work during daylight hours, even though I’m tired all the time cos I have to get up at 5am. (and I get to work an hour overtime in the morning guilt free)
